REWIND: Mridul Kumar - April 21, 2012

Mridul Kumar and his wife Sadhana came to visit the Bay Area last April.  Mridul and Krishnan (my husband) were college friends.  They both attended India Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur from 1971 thru 1976.  Then in 1976, they both went to Pennsylvania State University (Penn State) for graduate school and there, they were roommates for one year.  Mridul and Sadhana now live in Houston.

On April 21, there was a gathering for Mridul at Lam's house in San Jose.  Lam is another classmate of theirs.  Altogether, there were 18 people at the party -- 9 IIT Kanpur classmates and their wives.  I knew all of them expect for one couple whom I have met before, supposedly, but just don't remember.

REWIND: Terminix - April 16, 2012

I took a photo of the house across the street when it was under tent fumigation for 2 days in April.  I just found it interesting.

REWIND: Easter - April 8, 2012

Easter lunch at Newark Buffet.  Some sushi, some dimsum, mongolian barbecue, seafood, chinese, salad, dessert.  Not bad.

REWIND: Reez's Birthday Party - April 7, 2012

My high school classmate Reez celebrated her 60th birthday last April.  She had a Mexican-themed party for family and friends at her house in Pittsburg, an hour away from Union City. The usual group of Bay Area gels attended:  Mary Ann, Eileen, Pat, and me.  Nena from Las Vegas also came.

After the party, Mary Ann gave me a ride back home.  Pat, Eileen, and Nena were also passengers in her minivan.  They were all returning to San Francisco or near there.  But first, they all got off the car to use my bathroom and to pick some lemon from the tree in my side yard.
