When we went to Savannah, we did it via Jacksonville, Florida. That's where we rented a car for the 10 days that we were going to be in Savannah and Hilton Head Island. It is about a 2-hour drive from there to Savannah.
The first time I went to the restroom in the Jacksonville airport, I wondered for a few minutes where and how to wash my hands. Though I could see where the soap dispensers and the water taps were, I could not understand why there were no sinks! Just take a look at this picture:
It took me a couple of minutes to realize that the counter sloped down toward the wall and that there was a narrow gutter and drainage along that wall.
